Key Challenge : Badong Railway Station, a key station on the Zhengzhou–Wanzhou high-speed railway and the only high-speed rail station in Enshi Prefecture's Zhengwan section, was initially designed as a stopover station with only 3,000 square metres of station building area. After successful negotiations with China Railway Group, the station was expanded to 10,000 square metres, and the platform scale was upgraded from 2 platforms and 4 tracks to 2 platforms and 5 tracks, with 4 train storage tracks. The expanded station required seating that matched its new capacity.
