Key Challenge : Nanchang Fifth Hospital, founded in 1973, is a Grade II Level A comprehensive public hospital serving the Qingyunpu District and surrounding areas of Nanchang. In 2020, the hospital opened its new Guangzhou Road Campus — a RMB 500 million investment with a total construction area of nearly 90,000 square metres, 1,000 beds, and a daily outpatient capacity of 3,000–5,000 patients. The new campus represented a major upgrade in healthcare infrastructure for the region, with 40+ clinical and medical technology departments.
With daily patient volumes of up to 5,000, the hospital needed durable, comfortable seating that could withstand intensive daily use while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. The seating also needed to support the hospital's commitment to providing a positive patient experience in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.
